It’s about making decision and making decision based on available information therefore available information could be ruined.
another way to look at it is as if the choices are ideas, once one of these ideas become a believe you would take it as decision.

I totally agree with this statement. However, Some people try to hide from that truth and pretend that they can’t see it so that they’re not forced to suffer to do what’s right! Because doing what’s right isn’t always easy
