As far as the real time stage performance of this group in the real world, you could easily accomodate today’s modern theatre style…(DPA, Countryman, Sanken) headset mic’s and pro-earset monitors underneath that headgear they all seem to love.

They aren’t wearing any mics. And for the quality off mics they would need to get such a broad range of frequencies they would have to be close to the mouths of the performers or else they would pic up a world of other sounds. Even if they were in a studio with amazing acoustics the mic bleed for each performer would be impossible to mix….especially considering how much they are moving around.

Its cool to watch, dont get me wrong….but I have a hard time believing it. Not to mention that on the entire world wide web there is no other videos of their performance.

But performed live, and in this video…. no way. There is no indication that there are any mics on the performers. And for the dynamic range of the music to be performed live they would need some very high quality handheld mics to capture each individual performance. Then there would be the audio engineering applied at the same time to provide the vocal effects such as reverb and delay.
A fun performance to watch and a very good medley of dance tunes.
